Ted Brown's Quality Paint & Body Shop FAQ

1. You should never drive a car that could be unsafe such as: doors that won’t open, hoods that could fly up, lamps that don’t work, etc. We will gladly arrange a tow to our location for you.

2. The professionals at Ted Brown's Quality Paint & Body Shop can handle all the insurance work. Walk-Ins are always welcome.

3. There is no law that requires you to get more than one estimate.

4. You have the right to take your vehicle to a collision repair center of your choice. Insurance companies cannot oblige you to go to a particular shop. Auto collision is different from health insurance, as there are no in-network and out-of-network shops. They are all covered by your insurance.

5. Differences in repair estimates are common. A lower estimate may not include all necessary work. We can compare them if you have questions.

6. You should choose a repair facility that has unibody repair equipment and technicians who are certified by ASE or I-Car.

7. Make sure the auto body shop you choose has scanning diagnostics. After a collision it is very important to scan the car for any codes that may be present that cannot be seen by a visual inspection. Like seatbelt pretensioners, airbag modules and sensors, blind spot detection modules, pre-collision systems.

8. You should choose a shop that offers a lifetime warranty on your repairs. We offer every customer our Industry-best warranty.

9. We have close relationships with all insurance carriers and have the ability to work with them one-on-one.

10. We bill the insurance directly for your claim.
